Pegging the film feel in my post work has been my number one objective for a little while now. After millions of tests in Lightroom, I finally feel as though I’m getting closer. Here’s a quick look at my Develop settings and the results they bring, for those interested.

A concept I think I’m going to run with - This was pretty fun. Random folk in Fredericksburg, VA.
Beautiful day yesterday, decided to walk and snap some photos with my good friend, Arfa.

The Y Diagram

Working on a lighting technique for location portraiture, called The Y Diagram. This is something that seems to only be effective for location work, but who knows, could prove to work elsewhere. Why is it named that? Well the letter Y represents the lay out of the lights, imagine - one at each point, the subject in the center. Very simple, yet when done properly, with the right modifiers and some love in post… It can bring some pretty awesome results for subtle off camera lighting.

Hope to get some examples up soon

Urban Exploration. Gonna be all over in the up coming weeks.
Are you bored? Have a camera? Have a cat?  - Take photos of it. Possibly the best time killer ever to exist.
